8.10.2014, 9.05-9.30, Zaya Guest House, Ulan Bator

We've previously mentioned the address of our breakfasts (if known), but in Ulan Bator this proved difficult for a surprising reason: the city (of approx. 1 million inhabitants) doesn't have street numbers! So the best we could approximate is “Peace Avenue, behind the Peace and Friendship Union building”. We wonder how mail is delivered here...

In this guest house, breakfast was compulsory. It consisted of:

  • corn flakes with milk (4 % fat, woohoo!)
  • strawberry jam
  • butter
  • toasted bread
  • fried egg
  • half an apple
  • juice
  • tea or coffee
