9.30-10.00 AM; on the beach, Funafuti
This
morning I wanted to visit the southernmost tip of the Funafuti atoll. I had been there
quickly the day before yesterday, when a lorry driver named
Theonea offered me a ride to town but instead drove me (and his
surprised colleagues sitting on the carriage deck) first to
see the southern end of the island. Today I went back intentionally,
and had breakfast on the way.
- breakfasts crackers with peanut butter
- 1 orange
- salted peanuts
