After countless phone calls from different corners of Fiji to the shipping company and the Tuvaluan Embassy in Suva, we ended up empty-handed. The rumours say that as there will be an election shortly in Tuvalu, at least one of the ships is occupied with sailing the sitting PM around the Tuvaluan islands, doing his campaign.
Thus,
after travelling for eight months without flying, we arrived to
Nausori Airport.
